Fragrance Lamps, also known as effusion
lamps and catalytic lamps, exchange fragrance for unwanted odors.
These fragrance lamps purify the air you breathe, eliminating germs and
bacteria while infusing sensational fragrance throughout your home or
office, creating a healthy, relaxed, and soothing atmosphere. Fragrance
lamps work at approximately 1/4 the temperature of candles and burn
without an open flame. They pull air into the burner and through the wick
to the catalytic converter burner, releasing the purified air as a
fragrance which saturates a room much quicker and consistently than
candles and other fragrance products. It typically takes about 30-45
minutes to fragrance an average size home for 4-6 hours.
Fragrance lamps are currently manufactured by
Lampe Berger, La Tee Da,
Scentier and more.
When I purchased my first fragrance lampe, I was astounded at how
quickly the fragrance filled a room (and the strength of the fragrance).
What I did not realize at that time, however, that the lampe was just a
portion of my total investment. The oils can be very expensive.
As with most of my products, reducing cost was what drove me to develop
a lampe oil that was as good as the name brands. Here you will find
2 ways to purchase the oil: The first is as a completed product and
the second is as a concentrate that you mix with isopropyl alcohol, to
save you more money.
