than ordinary candles. Scent-ials candles are designed to perform at the

You may be surprised to find out that there is a lot more to a good candle than
just a strong fragrance. It is also important for a candle to burn across
it's entire diameter, leaving the sides of the jar clear so you can benefit from
the light of the flame, yet it is incredibly important not to use a wick that is
too large, as that will encourage black smoke and will burn through the candle
far too quickly or worse, create too much molten wax and allow the candle to
extinguish itself. We believe that we offer a truly perfect candle, or we
wouldn't be selling them. We have done extensive testing on our candles to
ensure that their fragrance will last from the first time you light it until the
very last and to ensure that they provide an exceptional burn and a very long
life. We use lead-free wicks to ensure your safety, in fact, votives and tea lights are the only candles that we sell that use a wire-core wick. All of our other candles are made using an unbleached cotton coreless wick.
