I am a married mother of 3 miniature schnauzers.  I have been scrapbooking and making candles since I married my husband in 2003. I started making candles as a hobby and it eventually turned into a small business. My friends, family, and customers love my candles because they contain so much fragrance that you don't even have to light them for your house to smell lovely.  

I have had my candle business open on the web for quite some time, but in 2008 while briefly unemployed, I began selling files for scrapbookers. I love creating these files, because I am a bit creative and a lot technical, so this combines two very different parts of me into one fun past time. 

I had considered purchasing a desktop cutter for a long time, but was concerned about having to make a file every time I needed something, so I decided on the Cricut as my first cutter.  I had heard that the Cricut would eventually be able to hook up to a computer, so I thought it was the best of both worlds.  SCAL came along and I could not be happier. 

I own a Cricut Personal (Baby Bug) as well as the Expressions machine. I do prefer to cut on my baby bug whenever I can because I like the portability (I set up shop in the living room) and I like that the mats are cheaper and can be run through my Xyron when they are no longer sticky. 

All of my files have been cut out and tested, so I know they'll work well on your machine.  You may notice from my photos on the website, that I try to avoid showing electronic representations of my cut files, instead showing what my files actually look like cut out.  If you ever need help with a file that you purchased, please e-mail me...
